I have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the various factors that impact pet health, including nutrition, exercise, emotional well-being, and environmental factors.
I enjoy all aspects of canine wellness and nutrition but I have a particular interest in skin disease and the underlying causes.
Nutrition has always been a special interest to me, so when my then 5 month old Cockapoo Monty started showing digestive and skin issues, I started looking into how diet is just as important for our canines as it is for human health.
This soon became my passion, and as a keen researcher this took me on a personal journey into caring for him naturally. I didnt want him on lifelong medication which would only mask the issues and potentially shorten his life. I just knew in my heart that there was another way and there was.
All we need to do is take a look at nature, its all there right in front of us.
I strive to help and support countless dog owners and their itchy dogs with empathy and guidance, knowing exactly how they feel when dealing with such difficult and frustrating illness.

In most cases these issues can be resolved before using drugs as their first call to action.
It can be a daunting prospect when we learn that there is another way; other than the conventional way of doing things. If we are open-minded it is absolutely possible to unlearn what we have been taught to believe so its never too late. Going the natural route is a process that no doubt can take time and effort finding the root cause(s) of the problem; which can be done if the removal of cause has taken place but sadly we live in a world of quick fixes which isnt the answer in most cases. We also believe we need to keep adding something but in the majority of cases its about removing the burden not adding to it as less is generally more. This is when we start seeing improvements as the body can heal itself; if and only when the conditions that are applied are aligned with what nature intended.
There is no quick fix when investing in your dogs health. When you embark on this journey with me it will take time, patience and dedication.

Next to total body weight, activity is the second most important factor in determining dietary needs for a healthy pet. Often the lifestyle of the pet owner determines the activity level of their pet. The number of overweight dogs and cats today indicates that too few of us are adequately exercising our best friends, resulting in human and pet health problems that could be avoided.
Hard work requires extra nutrients for two purposes: first, fuel for the muscular activity and energy expenditure, and second, the energy loss due to stress. Larger food volumes are not conducive to better performance or health.
Calories (energy) come from the three primary food sources: proteins, fats and carbohydrates. Protein, preferably high-quality animal-based protein, provides more than just energy.
